Dear dad, it’s mums 70th birthday today. Mum has been keeping very busy, as always, but the last week has been really busy. I have also been keeping busy because as always we are very emotional. Emotional because we miss you so much and it’s mums special birthday which I know you were planning a long time ago. You always spoke about it. And you can’t share it with us. It’s also approaching the wedding which you were really looking forward too. Mums had a busy birthday and we are going out for a birthday meal, which is hard because your not going to be there. I will be thinking about you, trying to imagine where you would sit. I bet mum will be doing the same. Laura, Phil and June have arrived today so mum has lots of company on her special day.
